Overview
Meryem Yıldız Ayvaz was born in Karaman in 1990. She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Nursing in 2012. Between 2012 and 2013, she worked as an intensive care nurse at Antalya Memorial Hospital. She completed her master's degree in Internal Medicine Nursing at Istanbul University Institute of Health Sciences in 2016, and her doctorate degree in Internal Medicine Nursing at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Institute of Graduate Education in 2020. Her research areas include cardiology nursing, intensive care nursing, sleep disorders, skin problems in chronic diseases. She has published research and review articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals, as well as contributed to national book chapters. Since January 2024, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Koç University Faculty of Nursing.
