Application Process
Before starting your online application make sure you have the following documents:
Resume / CV (Personal and Educational Background Information)
Statement of Purpose
3 Recommendation Letters for PhD applicants, 2 Recommendation Letters for MSc applicants
Official transcripts from all the universities attended
TOEFL IBT test score : 80 point for PhD and MSc applicants
YDS/YÖKDİL test score (for Turkish applicants) : 80 point for PhD and MSc applicants
GRE test score : 156 point in quantitative for PhD applicants, 149 point in quantitative for MSc applicants
ALES test score (for Turkish applicants) : 80 point in quantitative for direct PhD applicants; 70 point in quantitative for PhD applicants; 55 point in quantitative for MSc applicants
Important things to remember!
There is no need for a separate scholarship application. You only need to apply to the program(s) of your choice.
The application process is free. There is no application fee.
It is important to scan your documents before starting the online application.
You will also be able to upload any additional documents required to process your application after you have submitted it online.
If there are any technical problems with your application you can always sent an email to gshs@ku.edu.tr missing documents or information.
Who Can Apply?
The following are the eligible programs for the Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Neuroscience, Immunology, Medical Physiology, Medical Microbiology, Reproductive Medicine, Reproductive Biology, Global Health and Nursing programs;
Students with a BS/MS degree in Basic Sciences (biology, chemistry, molecular biology and genetics, physics, mathematics, psychology, etc) or Health Sciences (dentistry, veterinary medicine, medical biology, physical therapy and rehabilitation, nutrition and dietetics, nursing etc) or MD degree are eligible to apply.
NURSING (MS AND PHD IN TURKISH)
Having a BS or Master’s with Thesis Degree in at least one of the branches as Gynecology Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Internal Diseases Nursing, Psychatric Nursing, Nursing Essentials, Public Health Nursing and Nursing Management.
