Financial Aid

There exists a wide spectrum of financial aid and scholarship opportunities and packages for graduate students at the Graduate School of Health Sciences. These include “KU Graduate Scholarship” funded by Koç University (%25, %50, %75, %100),  BİDEB scholarship funded by TUBITAK, Türkiye Scholarships, “Project-based Graduate Scholarship” co-funded by external sources such as TÜBİTAK, EU, industry through projects and Koç University. Nursing PhD program offers 100% scholarship (full exemption from tuition fees) for all candidates who meet the criteria.

KU Graduate Scholarship:

KU Graduate Scholarship is a competitive MS and PhD scholarship opportunity. Applicants having excellent academic record and/or having high impact scientific publications are considered for KU Graduate Scholarship. KU Graduate Scholarship includes the following stipend & benefits:

PhD Students:

Tuition waiver
Monthly stipend of 16.000 TL
Free furnished housing (shared by 3-4 students/if there is a place) nearby campus
Private health insurance (limited coverage)
Meal Card
Free HGS (Fast Transit Pass) car stickers for campus entrance
Travel support to attend scientific events (Oral or poster presentation acceptance on National/International Conference Attendance)

MS with thesis students:

Tuition waiver
Monthly stipend of 10.000 TL
Private health insurance (limited coverage)
Travel support to attend scientific events (Oral or poster presentation acceptance on National/International Conference Attendance)

Project-based Graduate Scholarship:

MS and PhD students are accepted to participate in specific research projects funded by external sources such as TÜBİTAK, EU, or industry. The stipend varies depending on the project. Koç University provides the same benefits for all Project-based Graduate Scholarships.

Turkey Scholarships at Koç University:

To receive the scholarship students need to do the following in parallel within the relevant application periods:

1) apply to Koç University using Gradapp and be admitted, and

2) apply to the Turkiye Scholarships Doctoral Scholarship program using their online application system and be selected

Turkey Scholarships

The fellowships and scholarships (including the side benefits) as well as the awards are subject to the continuation of the students’ satisfactory academic performance as stated in the Koç University Graduate Scholarship Rules and Regulations.
