Koç University Center for Asian Studies (KUASIA) will admit up to three visiting researchers for the 2021-22 academic year. Both current Ph.D. candidates and scholars with a Ph.D. can apply for research affiliation. During their appointment, research affiliates will have access to shared office space and library resources at Koç University and a KU email address. Research affiliates should make at least one presentation in KUASIA webinars and write one blog post for the KUASIA website. They can also discuss their works in process with other researchers at the KUASIA.
Research affiliates should indicate KUASIA as their host institution in their published works during the affiliation period and acknowledge KUASIA’s contribution in their works submitted during the affiliation period but published after its termination.
Applicants should submit a CV and a proposal (up to 1000 words) explaining their research plans (papers, grant applications, etc.) during their affiliation at KUASIA.
Applications should be emailed to kuasia@ku.edu.tr by November 21, 2021. Previous visiting researchers can re-apply to the program, but new applicants will be prioritized.
